Es una banda estadounidense de punk rock y pop punk integrada originalmente por tres miembros Billie Joe armstorng( guitarras y voz)

Mike Dirnt(bajos y coros) y Tré Cool (batería) Esta formación se mantuvo vigente hasta el año 2012 en el que se integro el guitarrista Jason White, el grupo es originario de Oakland(California) se gestó prematuramente en el año 1987 bajo el nombre de sweet children, después en el año 1989 decidieron cambiar el nombre que es el que tienen actualmente, y poco después publicaron su primer álbum de estudio(39/smooth).... It is an American band of punk rock and pop punk integrated originally by three members Billie Joe armstorng (guitars and voice) Mike Dirnt (low and choirs) and Tré Cool (battery) This formation was kept in force until the year 2012 in which I integrate the guitarist Jason White, the group is original of Oakland (California) it was in preparation prematurely in the year 1987 under the name of sweet children, later in the year 1989 they decided to change the name that is the one that they have nowadays, and little later they published his first album of study (39/smooth)
